About

Our Roots
From the providence of Avellino, Italy in the small village of Artipalda, came a family of bakers that went by the name of Aginoni, One brother, named Giuseppe, made the journey to America in 1878 in search for a better life.
He was fortunate enough to find a job in Newark, New Jersey's famous Giordano's Bakery. Giuseppe’s family grew and inspired many chefs and bakers. Arturo, his grandson, found himself following in the family’s footsteps.
His passion
His passion for cooking soon made him a master chef and a world renowned restauranteur. Owner of many restaurants, Antico Arturo Italiano will honor his legacy.
